At the heart of this raffle lies a cause incredibly close to me, supporting SUDEP Action, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), and supporting those who have tragically lost a loved one to epilepsy.

In May 2024, I lost my uncle, Brett, suddenly and unexpectedly to SUDEP. His passing was a devastating shock to my family and opened my eyes to a risk that many people, even those living with epilepsy, don’t always know exists. SUDEP Action works tirelessly to change that, through vital research, awareness campaigns, and offering a lifeline of support for bereaved families.

They are the only UK charity dedicated to preventing SUDEP and other epilepsy-related deaths through direct support, education, and advocacy. Their work helps drive forward life-saving knowledge and ensures that families, like mine, don’t have to walk this path alone.

To honour my uncle’s memory and support SUDEP Action’s life-changing work, 5% of all proceeds from this van raffle will be donated directly to the charity. This way, everyone who enters isn’t just getting the chance to win my incredible van, you’re also helping to fund important work that saves lives and supports grieving families.

He was the kindest man I ever met, and my one and only uncle. I know he’d be more than proud of me for completing my build after he passed and hopefully help make a difference.
